About us

Leickfault Foundry is a ironworks based at Vellmar in The Capital District. The company was founded on 22 August 1995 by Andrea Leickfault and has traded for 31 years.

Since its founding Leickfault Foundry has grown into one of the leading names in the iron sector. Our head office remains at Vellmar, where it all began.

Our founder. Andrea Leickfault, cook, was born at Hochfurt on 28 April 1965.

Our history

Dates are as entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance.

What we do

Leickfault Foundry operates in the iron trade, serving Vellmar and the surrounding country. Particulars of current lines are available on application to the registered office.

We offer bar iron, rails, chain and castings to pattern to customers throughout the country.

We take on staff throughout the year. Current vacancies are on Stellenmarkt; ask us about working here. Applications in writing to the registered office, stating age, trade and Marsh Regiment service if any. A labourer's day is paid at not less than the published rate of 1,426.07 marka.

Investors

Leickfault Foundry is quoted on the Vellmar Exchange as LEI since 2002. Last year-end close: 3,507.40 marka (31 December 2025). The Exchange publishes year-end closes only.
